Jessica & Joe

We love getting people to use our backyard for any type of sessions, but engagement sessions are kind of special for us since we got married here in 2017. We are kind of biased, but we adore sunset at our studio, and this year we are spraying against mosquitos so that we can enjoy those dusk moments without smacking away any unwanted photo bombers!
Engagement / Family
Getting to know new couples is always fun, especially when they bring a cute little sweetheart like Olivia to the session and blow us away with her adorable little pink dress and matching shoes. Whenever families book us, we always make sure that they are included if the couple wants, in the engagement session. This makes the wedding day run a bit smoother, especially with older kids, as they already know who we are and will hopefully give us a few extra smiles.
We generally ask for both extra children & pet’s that they bring a designated “watcher” and I feel like they don’t get enough credit, but they really should! They are helping the couples get into a groove that we couldn’t achieve if we were always worried about them!
Joe showed up with his cowboy boots I knew that we were going to have some fun. I usually prep clients when we first start, and kind of gauge how they feel about things… and I have to say, at first I wasn’t sure if they would come out of their shells, but they did not disappoint. They both completely went for it, and it was making me laugh just as hard as you can see them laughing.
I adore the feedback from couples that they are so glad they did the engagement session, because in reality, you are investing in our team, and we are investing in you, so we want to make sure that clients walk away with not only an amazing experience but memories they can look back on and feel all the love they were feeling in those funny moments we shared.
If you ever want to book with us, know that engagement sessions are pretty much a no-brainer, as we want to get to know you guys as much as we can before you say “I do.”
