Backyard in Carp – Engagement Session at our studio on our 2 acre estate property. Meeting in person again was so fun as the last time I saw these two was at a surprise engagement. This is super special for us because we also get to see past couples at upcoming weddings! When we bought our property, we never realized how much we would use it for sessions. This year we’ve decided to make a plan for future sessions and spending our “extra” time focusing on making it photo worthy.

Hailey & Seb have quite the story, especially the story of how they will end up getting married. Originally they were meant to have a celebration in PEI. However, they also fell victim to the effects of the last year. This year however, they’ve decided that it’s a go no matter what. Hanging out with this wonderful couple feels like I’m with old friends. It’s easy, fun, and I can’t wait for the big day!
Carp Engagement Photography Session
A few of the ideas we have for our property are a mini orchard of cherry blossoms and apple blossoms, a few rows of lavender & peonies. We have a few areas where we plan to put rows of evergreens and spruce’s to really give a variety! We’ve also started a vegetable garden this year and plan to continue to grow these over the years.
I started a small patch of wild flowers and I think that if it does well I will add a larger area around the outskirts of the property for some beautiful variety throughout the seasons with florals. Lilacs are already growing so fast so I am excited to see them take off in the upcoming years.
