Ottawa Hunt & Golf Club Wedding for Paige & Michael. There’s something magical about weddings that fall in October. The air is crisp, the light is golden, and the cozy charm of fall seems to wrap every moment in romance. For Paige and Michael, October holds an even deeper meaning. Every month since they started dating, they’ve celebrated their love with a special date on the 11th. So when it came time to choose a wedding date, October 11th, 2025 couldn’t have been more perfect.
Their wedding at the Ottawa Hunt & Golf Club was filled with emotion, tradition, and so much joy. It wasn’t just a celebration of two people, but of generations of love and family legacy. From the moment we arrived until the final dance, every detail felt intentional, heartfelt, and beautifully them.

A Love Story That Began at McDonald’s
Sometimes the best love stories begin in the most unexpected places. For Paige and Michael, it all started while they were working at McDonald’s. What began as co-workers sharing shifts eventually blossomed into something much more. Their relationship grew, strengthened by their monthly ritual of celebrating the 11th, each date marking their commitment to one another.
That tradition came full circle on their wedding day, when they exchanged vows on the most important “11th” of all.

The First Look: A Moment of Pure Emotion
One of the most touching parts of Paige and Michael’s day was their first look. Surrounded by the quiet beauty of the Ottawa Hunt & Golf Club gardens, they shared private vows with one another.
There were so many tears—tears of joy, tears of love, and tears that spoke volumes about the depth of their connection. It was such a raw and intimate moment, and it set the tone for the rest of the day. Watching two people be so vulnerable and present with one another is one of the greatest privileges of this work, and this first look will be one we’ll remember for years to come.

Generations of Love
Weddings are never just about the couple; they are also about the families that helped shape them. Paige and Michael were surrounded by generations of love, with their Nono’s and Nona’s proudly watching on. It was a reminder of the deep roots of their Italian heritage and the strength of family bonds.
That love was felt all day long—from the laughter during getting ready, to the tears during speeches, and especially during the dances later in the evening.
Why Ottawa Hunt & Golf Club Feels So Special to Us
It had been a few years since we last photographed a wedding at Ottawa Hunt & Golf Club, and being back was so nostalgic for us. This venue holds a very personal place in our hearts. Early in our relationship, Luc brought me to my first big family gathering here—his cousin’s wedding—just six weeks after we started dating. It was one of those defining moments where I realized how special his family was and how much this place would mean to us.
Walking the grounds again with Paige and Michael, I couldn’t help but feel those same emotions all over again. The gardens, even in mid-October, were still bursting with beauty, and the sunset that night was truly spectacular. It felt like everything aligned just for them.
The Celebration
The reception was filled with energy, laughter, and plenty of Italian traditions. One of our favorite moments was the streamers during the first dance—a long-standing tradition that brings so much life and joy to the celebration.
Paige and Michael’s first dance itself was something out of a fairytale. They had choreographed it beautifully, and the room was absolutely captivated as cold sparks lit up the floor and dry ice created a dreamy cloud effect. It was breathtaking, the kind of dance you never forget.
Michael also shared one of the most heartfelt dances of the evening with his Nona. There was not a dry eye in the room as generations came together in such a tender way. And in another touching gesture, Paige gifted her bouquet to her mom, a moment that perfectly reflected the gratitude and love she feels for her family.

Golden Hour Magic
As photographers, we always chase the light, and that evening we were gifted with the most stunning sunset. The glow across the golf course and gardens created the perfect backdrop for portraits. Paige and Michael’s joy was palpable, and capturing them in that light felt like the perfect metaphor for the beginning of their married life—bright, warm, and full of promise.

A Day to Remember
Paige and Michael’s wedding at Ottawa Hunt & Golf Club was a celebration of love in every sense. From the intimate first look to the lively dance floor, every moment carried weight and meaning. Their story—from McDonald’s co-workers to husband and wife—is proof that love can grow in the most unexpected places and blossom into something extraordinary.
For us, this wedding was also a beautiful reminder of why we love what we do. It’s not just about capturing pretty pictures, but about documenting the emotions, traditions, and legacies that make each couple’s story unique.
Paige and Michael, thank you for allowing us to be a part of your unforgettable day. Your love is inspiring, and we know the tradition of celebrating every 11th will continue to carry even more meaning now that you’re walking through life as husband and wife.
