Get to know your photographer. Engagement shoots are often the first time you are really working with your photographer/videographer. It’s like insurance for your wedding day. These are lifetime memories being captured, you want them done how you envision.

Get comfortable in front of the camera – Most couples find it a little awkward at first. That is completely normal. Most couples don’t get photos done everyday. Working with your photographer means that you understand that mind body connection. When they tell you to put your arms a certain way, it might feel weird. However, once they send the photos you’ll understand why.

Remember being engaged. It’s that fleeting period where you have and get to be a fiancé(e). Document it! A moment just as rare as your wedding day!
