Natasia & Ed’s Ottawa Wedding Chapel elopement

Natasia and Ed are both originally from Liverpool, in the UK, and moved to Canada about a year before their wedding. Their engagement happened on a beach in Tofino, BC, about as far west as this country goes, and somewhere along the way they fell hard for Canada as a whole. So when it came time to get married, eloping here felt like the only real option.

Their wedding day was just the two of them. No guests, no wedding party, just Natasia and Ed and the two witnesses they hired to make it official (a completely normal and surprisingly simple thing to arrange, more on that below). They arrived at the Ottawa Wedding Chapel in Kenmore by limo, all the way from the Chateau Laurier downtown, which is a genuinely fun way to make an entrance when it’s just the two of you.

Where is the Ottawa Wedding Chapel

The Ottawa Wedding Chapel is located in Kenmore, about 30 minutes south of downtown Ottawa, roughly past Bank Street and Hunt Club Road. It’s a bit of a drive, which is part of why couples like Natasia and Ed treat the trip out as part of the adventure, arriving in style by car or limo.

Ottawa Wedding Chapel packages and pricing

Pricing depends on the day and package. As of this writing: “When Two Hearts Meet” runs $370 (Monday to Thursday), “Love’s Intimate Gathering” is $499 (also Monday to Thursday), Friday or Sunday bookings run $899, and a Saturday Classic package is $1,199. The chapel can accommodate anywhere from 2 to 150 guests, so it works whether it’s just the two of you or you’re bringing a full crowd.

What the chapel looks like

This isn’t a sterile government building, it’s a genuinely charming, restored 19th century chapel with hardwood floors, antique furnishings, and stained glass windows. It’s non-denominational and open to every tradition, and the team has been doing this for over 20 years, so they know how to make a ceremony feel personal even when it’s small.
