Classic studio portraits – newborn girl, are a way for parents to capture newborns in a very stress-free and quick in and out experience. We only wrap the baby and we pick three colours and capture the baby either awake or asleep! These sessions are great for parents who just want to get a handful of nice photos of their newborn without having to dress up or have any other children in the session.

Looking at getting a few nice photos when your baby is born can be tricky to do, especially for your first baby. We recommend that you take your time if you aren’t feeling up to having photos done right away. We can always do wrapped baby photos until 4-6 weeks old, depending on the size of your baby.
If you have a baby who is over 12 pounds it will be harder but not impossible to do these photos as they may not fit. The props are designed to fit babies up to 10 pounds approximately. We have a limited variety of props that will fit babies larger than this.
No need to dress up or wear fancy clothes for this session as baby can stay in a sleeper or onesie for the entire session. Mom’s don’t need to worry about getting done up either, as this session is only for baby only. If you choose a session like this, we recommend family photos once baby is about 6-9 months old.
Choosing colours for your Newborn Session
Parent’s can choose up to 3 colours for the session. We recommend at least one neutral colour as this will keep the photos looking classic. The other colour inspiration can come from the nursery decor and colours. We have a variety of colours available and that will coordinate perfectly with your baby.
