Lavender Rain Inspired Wedding – Le Belvedere – Lavender Inspired Wedding at “Le Belvédère” in Wakefield, QC followed by a Lavender Rain sky was the cherry on top. When you plan your wedding to be on the biggest party day of the year you know it’s going to be a good one, however the rain tried to say otherwise. Just as we thought the rain would keep everyone inside a rainbow popped out for a sweet kiss.
The beautiful skies as storms passed by gave the most beautiful backdrop for photos of the happy couple. The skies turned lavender at times to match the theme of the wedding. All the delicate intricate details handcrafted to perfection which Emilie did entirely herself. So many laughs the entire day filled with so much joy.
Walking Down the Aisle Married
Walking down the aisle after saying your “I do’s” has got to be the best feeling. All the nerves, all the preparation, all the build up is done and now it’s time to celebrate it. That’s what is so amazing about weddings is that you plan your day around celebration and it always comes together just right! When the sky was trying not to rain it was switching to all kinds of colours including Lavender Rain clouds.
Groom Prep is Important Too
Lavender inspired the whole day right down to the dresses and floral arrangements. Emilie also gave out little lavender seeds as favours for guests to grow them later to remember this special day. Lavender plants are perennials so once they grow they tend to come back every year which is such a unique gift for guests.
This beautiful champagne dress was flowing in the wind and had such a beautiful feel to it. It was a dress that was so easy to photograph as it fit Emilie just perfectly, even with the rain you couldn’t see any drops of rain on it as well which made it such a versatile dress.
