Romance Filled Arboretum Engagement featuring the lovely Nicole and Jon. As we wandered through the Arboretum we shared stories and laughed while truly getting to know each other. The laid back feel of this session was really fun and we just chased the light, my favourite thing to do. Lately, we’ve been asking couples to choose different locations that will get us inspired. During this session, we decided to venture off a bit further towards Carleton University and snuck a few photos with the Locks.
Engagement Session Adventure – Alway’s fun, we promise
Yet again, we were challenged with the “we only do awkward photo’s” comment and I get even more excited every time I hear it. Sometimes I get so pumped up when couples say that. Luc and I are both competitive people and so of course whenever anyone challenges us we like to rise to the occasion. In this case, it didn’t take long before they were acting silly and laughing at themselves which is perfect! Can’t have anyone taking themselves too seriously!
Romantic Engagement Session for two please!
As the sun started to set these two brought the fire. They started to auto pose into really romantic poses that had my heart singing inside. Mixing romantic photos into the session is lots of fun, especially as an Ottawa Wedding Photographer. I loved the mixed textures of the outfits they chose, the little tan heels matched so effortlessly with the off-white linen dress. Jon also seemed super comfy in contrast colours that had an earthy tone overall.
Romance Filled Arboretum Engagement is on the books and now I am excited about all our fall-themed sessions. As the mornings and evenings get cooler its wonderful to be able to layer up and wear comfy textures. The fall season is upon us and I can’t wait, even though I’m not ready for winter. Does anyone else feel like we skipped summer?
