Our latest engagement session with Nicole and Jon at the Dominion Arboretum Ottawa was nothing short of magical. As we wandered through the Dominion Arboretum, we shared stories and laughed while truly getting to know each other. The laid-back feel of this session was really fun, and we just chased the light—my favourite thing to do. Lately, we’ve been asking couples to choose different locations that inspire us. Engagement Session Adventure – Always Fun, We Promise
Yet again, we were challenged with the “we only do awkward photos” comment, and I get even more excited every time I hear it. Sometimes I get so pumped up when couples say that. Luc and I are both competitive people, and so, of course, whenever anyone challenges us, we like to rise to the occasion. In this case, it didn’t take long before Nicole and Jon were acting silly and laughing at themselves, which is perfect! You can’t have anyone taking themselves too seriously!
Romantic Engagement Session for Two, Please!
As the sun started to set, these two brought the fire. They started to auto-pose into really romantic poses that had my heart singing inside. Mixing romantic photos into the session is lots of fun, especially as an Ottawa Wedding Photographer. I loved the mixed textures of the outfits they chose; the little tan heels matched so effortlessly with the off-white linen dress. Jon also seemed super comfy in contrasting colors that had an earthy tone overall.
