Morris Island Conservation Engagement Session complete with a beautiful sunset that ended in a cotton candy coloured sky for Veronica & Colin. Laughing is always a huge part of any session we do and even though we do ask couples to do similar things, they always turn out a bit different. Getting our couples to open up is really our main focus. Breaking the ice sorta speak.
We want our couples to instantly feel at ease on a wedding day so engagement sessions are key for this! Unless you’re a full-time model, engagement sessions are a lot more fun than people anticipate. If we hear that they were nervous or feel awkward is the icing on the cake for us. Everyone feels awkward! I would be out of work if everyone was super comfortable and knew exactly how to pose!

Morris Island Conservation Engagement Session – Why we love new spots
Perhaps it’s just us, but we love getting to explore new places. Each night, during sunset we get to explore a new part of the city doing what we love. How amazing does that sound? Honestly, we are so honoured and extremely lucky we get to wake up and do this each day. If you aren’t following your passions in life, you my friend are seriously missing out.
We have both worked in the government and corporate world and we just can’t go back. Being creative, honing in on skills, building relationships, having a small legacy that we will leave behind for generations. These are all the qualities that you may not even realize come hand in hand with our job.

Getting Married during COVID Ottawa
Veronica and Colin were set to get married in June 2020. COVID of course had different plans and yet from the very first conversation we had with them, love came first. It was very important to them that they get married in some way this year and we couldn’t be more excited. The day is finally here on Sunday and our team is grinning from ear to ear because we can’t wait.
