Stunning June Wedding at Le Belvedere for the lovely Valerie & Olivier. There’s something truly magical about our first wedding of the season at Le Belvedere, nestled high in the picturesque mountains of Wakefield. Valerie and Olivier’s wedding day was not just special—it was spectacular. Capturing both photography and videography for this vibrant and culturally rich celebration was an absolute joy. Here’s a glimpse into their incredible day, filled with laughter, tears, and endless dancing.
Returning home to Le Belvedere
Returning to Le Belvedere always feels like coming home. With breathtaking mountain views and an amazing team who truly makes us feel like family, every event here is unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the staff at Le Belvedere greeted us warmly and ensured everything flowed seamlessly. It’s no surprise we’ll be returning here eight times this season—each wedding as heartfelt and vibrant as the last.
Elegant Preparations and Memorable Moments
The day began with some humour as we arrived for prep with Olivier and the groomsmen. It was a hilarious and innocent moment when they realized they needed to be dressed before our arrival, but my trusty “mom voice” quickly got everyone organized. Olivier and his groomsmen looked dashing in their sleek suits from Tip Top.
Meanwhile, Valerie and her bridesmaids were radiant, sipping champagne and getting their final touches. Alison from Bombshell Hair Design expertly styled Valerie’s hair to perfection, and Steph from Steph Bullock Makeup ensured everyone’s makeup was flawless, even through tears and laughter. Valerie’s dress from White Satin Bridal was stunning, featuring a beautiful slit that added an edgy elegance perfect for the warm June day.
Floral and Decor Dreams Come True
The breathtaking florals and décor provided by Sage Designs truly transformed Le Belvedere into a dreamy wedding paradise. From delicate floral arrangements to carefully crafted table details, every corner was picturesque, complementing the stunning natural backdrop perfectly.
A Ceremony Full of Emotion
One of the most touching moments was Valerie and Olivier exchanging vows. Their heartfelt words left hardly a dry eye in sight, including ours! I had the hardest time capturing them all! The amazing music from Luxe Duo is always such a treat. I remember hearing Valerie say to her family can you hear the cello? She was so excited! It was lovely to see JL from Grounded Ceremonies, we love working with them and we were lucky to see Karen at our Thursday wedding too! Capturing these emotional moments was a privilege, and the joy radiating from the couple afterward as they walked down the aisle hand-in-hand was infectious.
Picture-Perfect Moments
Despite the smoke playing a little havoc with the sun, we seized every moment of light we could. Valerie’s bouquet, while lovingly battered by the day’s excitement, and the epic grand entrance, it shone in the beautiful shots we took earlier, emphasizing the careful detail and elegance crafted by Sage Designs. Stunning June Wedding at Le Belvedere and the best sunset provided a few romantic and edgy portraits, showcasing Valerie’s striking dress and Olivier’s charming smile.
An Unforgettable Celebration
Valerie and Olivier’s grand entrance was definitely one for the books—set to one of my personal favourite EDM tracks, their energy was electric and set the tone for the night. Deez Entertainment kept the party alive with a mix of vibrant music, nostalgic early 2000’s hits, and house beats, turning the dance floor into an exhilarating celebration of love and joy.
A major highlight was the spinning photo booth provided by Mawa Photobooth. Guests couldn’t get enough of the dynamic, interactive fun, creating memories that will be cherished forever. We particularly loved the traditional dance and music tributes, beautifully representing the merging of cultures that made the day even more unique.
Sweet Treats and Special Touches
The incredible cake by Batterup Bakery was a deliciously indulgent way to end the evening, alongside the unique and spicy favours from Haico’s Hot Sauce. Special thanks to the wonderful Le Belvedere team, who spoiled us with the best bread and Diet Coke—directly into my veins – a small detail that warmed our hearts immensely.
