This romantic July Wedding at Evermore Ottawa for Morgan and Ryan is perfectly lovely in every way. When I think of chill, in-the-moment couples, I think of these two. They’re madly in love, had the most perfect July weather, a stunning sunset, beautiful decor, and gorgeous details. All of the beautiful gardens were filled with blooms. Even though darker clouds came and went we never once worried about the weather. The vibe was completely relaxed and fun, just the way we like it. My hope is that everyone can be in the moment on a wedding day.
I can’t wait for you to see every beautiful moment from Morgan & Ryan’s wedding, so get scrolling!
Our time together felt like hanging out with your closest crew. From an adorable & emotional first touch, to some stunning detail shots, to a ceremony that had everyone reaching for tissues, a cake cutting with fun doughnut eating, birthday toasts, packed dance floor — we really did it all and made it count.
Also, this was my first time doing photos at Evermore (we’ve done video a few times) Max & Corey or Emma & Iain, but not both! Luc and I really love working together and I think you can feel our energy through these images!
Historic Naismith House Getting Ready at Evermore
Gosh, how perfect is this place. So beautiful. All this beauty in one place feels illegal. It’s clear why couples fall in love with this place. Vintage elegance at its finest. The front room is where we set up details and bridal shots. This July Wedding at Evermore was magic from start to finish. All the unique rooms are perfect for family and friends to gather before and even after the festivities. I remember Sandy saying that she was staying the night, laughing, I thought it sounded perfect.
First Touch before the Ceremony + Reading Letter
The tears continued for this as well. We wanted to this by the house but also keep it private so behind the barn/garage was perfect. Both Morgan and Ryan were able to feel each other and read the most perfect letter to each other. This is such a great alternative if you might be on the fence about a first look.
Time to get down the Aisle
So many tears of joy. So many watery eyes as Ryan walked down with his dad and mom holding him tight. Morgan’s reveal could have stopped a moving train. So breathtaking as the wind swept her long veil up behind her as she walked. I was thrilled when she decided to take my advice and soak it in. Adding a pause or two as you walk down the aisle is really such a nice touch. She was able to see Ryan, look at everyone, and then take a big breath.
Morgan & Ryan — thank you for introducing me to the amazing people in your lives, and allowing me to document your perfect day. It has been magical since day 1.
