Not a cloud in the sky on this perfect warm day for a Spring Wedding at Lago. The girls got ready at a house in downtown Ottawa meanwhile, the guys got ready in a repurposed airplane hangar. Our first wedding where it didn’t rain on Madeline and Aidan’s Wedding day. However, I don’t think rain could have spoiled this perfect day.
First looks and reading vows
Madeline and Aidan decided to have a first look and read their vows to each other afterwards. Getting to share vows privately is a great option if you’re not wanting to do it in front of all your family and friends. Having a first look is really the ideal option when doing your vows privately. Not only will you have amazing photos, but you’ll get to spend more time with your guests throughout the day. Intimate moments like this I’m sure I will never forget.
Wedding Ceremony in Spring time at Lago
The ceremony was truly a magical moment to capture however, there were no dry eyes in the room. The Bride’s Uncle married her parents and was able to make it for Madeline and Aidan which made for a truly special ceremony.
Sunny Day at Dow’s Lake & Tulip Festival
Since it was a warm spring day and the day before Mother’s day, there were a lot of people around the venue. However, we were able to find a few locations to try and avoid having people in the background of the photos. Every year Ottawa has a Tulip Festival and we were lucky enough to capture Madeline and Aidan with freshly bloomed Tulips. This was a first for us but we had so much fun getting these shots!
