Summer Wedding at Brookstreet Hotel for Jessica & Stu is one for the books. These two had a hell of a ride to get to this day but I’m sure its worth it in the end. It’s no joke planning a wedding in normal times. Now add a pandemic in the mix that postpones your wedding and a venue that throws weird rules at you. Now you change venues and somehow don’t feel a bit of stress on the wedding day. Jessica is the most relaxed bride and I was thrilled to be able to capture her day. This day was filled with so much love, laughter, and perhaps relief that it was finally able to happen.
Why you should do a First Look – Emotional Groom
We all hear that first looks take away from the traditional “seeing” you for the first time walking down the aisle. However Stu started getting emotional before he even saw her. It was the sweetest moment for me to be able to capture this truly special moment for them. I could see a huge weight lifted off of them during this moment. Walking down the aisle was still very special and emotional, but a little less in this case. They both were able to live in the moment and not be overwhelmed with the same emotions during the first look.
Fun, charming, and beautiful Wedding Party at Brookstreet Hotel
This wedding party was in full party mode and I was all for it. We had a blast doing lots of fun and beautiful poses. I think it’s important to mix in a bit of traditional poses with some fun ones. Having everything the same is not our style. Choosing who you want to stand with you is a big deal and so it’s nice to make it fun for everyone when we can. The grey suits with the light purple accents was a beautiful tie in. The florals completed the whole look and we can’t forget about Jessica’s stunning dress & veil. I mean look at these veil shots. Love them all!
So happy this Summer Wedding at the Brookstreet Hotel is in the books. These two deserve all the love & happiness in the world and I can’t wait to see this marriage flourish. If they can make it through all this, they can make it through anything!
