Summer Wedding Side Door for the lovely Ashley & Graeme on a beautiful outdoor sunny summer day. I arrived at the cutest home that was perfectly ready for me to start capturing the prettiest prep. Ashley followed all my instructions to a T. Having all the things ready and waiting made my job super easy. Ashley knows exactly what she wants and I just love that about a bride. Sometimes I love to put my creative spin on things but having clear direction is also very important. Everything from the first look, the beautiful wedding 2.0 jokes, the emotional vows & speeches felt just right. Even though they’ve been married a year already, this day felt different in a good way!

I have shot weddings at the side door before but never used the outdoor space. Last time I shot at this venue was in the winter for a surprise wedding! However, a really sweet option is outdoor with the wood walls and greenery surrounding the ceremony. Ashley completed the look with a stunning arch of florals for the ceremony and reception. Everyone knows I’m a sucker for big beautiful bouquets as well. This is something I feel that’s a non-negotiable. Having a real bouquet on your wedding day is a must in my books.

Warm & Bright – First look in Front of a Castle – Fairytale Moment
First looks are so special because it’s a moment that couples get to have just the two of them. It was however beautiful to hear cheering and clapping about 60 feet behind me, so not quite a lone, but it’s still a special moment. Thrilled that these two got to have wedding 2.0 at Side Door with closest friends and family beside them. No summer wedding is complete without warm and sunny sunsets.

Dancing is back for this Summertime Outdoor Wedding
One thing is for sure, we’ve all missed a good social event. One of the main things about celebrating love is the actual celebration part. Seeing everyone on the dance floor gave me all the feels I’ve been missing this past 2 seasons. The vibrations were so high and filled the entire room with joy. Even though this is wedding 2.0, you couldn’t tell by all the love flowing abundantly through everyone.
