An Arboretum Engagement Session with Dogs is so much fun, even when they don’t always understand what’s going on. Brittany and Nicholas brought the two most adorable little furry family members to the session. Treats for both of them as they behaved so well and we got some truly incredible moments. Whenever we have furry members at a session we always ask our clients to bring a helper. This way we can get some wonderful photos and the dogs can relax when we’re finished with them. It’s always good to bring a leash, water and treats whenever possible.

The story of Brittany & Nicholas
“After our first date at Merivale bowling and Tailgators, Nick serenaded me with the song “Beautiful, Crazy” while he drove me back to my car. We are both country music lovers so this song was quite popular when we had first met. After the serenade and our first kiss, we were pretty much inseparable. We spent every single evening together and he practically moved in together right away. Life didn’t feel right if we weren’t together. After 4 months we decided to get a spot of our own and from that point on everything just fell into place. Nothing about our relationship was normal. Trying to explain the way we fit was next to impossible. We didn’t even believe it was possible to fall in love as hard and fast as we both did. The trips we made, the time we spent, and the dogs we adopted. Also, the support and love we received from family and friends just screamed “fate”. We are each others happily ever after.”

Casual, Intimate, Real Couple Posing during Engagement Session
Mixing this style is exactly what we love doing. Candid and casual moments are what we are going for and what our clients love. Showing off the personalities of our couples is how we love to capture everything. We just want to document the fun, humourous, loving personalities our couples portray. Our photos and videos are something they will always cherish and we know what an honour it is to do what we do.

Having fun overall is key to Natural Photos & Videos
The best plan is one where our couples know exactly what to expect, but sometimes that’s hard to do without showing them. Often, couples ask why they need an engagement session. We know that it’s not only a great way to get to know each other, but to put couples at ease. Sometimes we find that couples are nervous or feel awkward. We promise within 10 minutes you’ll be laughing and have a lot of fun and we’ll capture the real you.
