Backyard Romantic Wedding Harrowsmith with the beautiful Morgan & Jay filled with so much love. They celebrated with all their closest friends and family surrounded by all the most thought out beautiful touches. Morgan’s Pinterest board came to life in the most stunning way. While she did mention that Jay was a huge help with building all the things, however everyone knows that she was the driving force behind it all. From the custom napkins to the little tux for their dog Dale, the delicate invitation suite, the greenery & Edison lights, everything was flawless. We love capturing backyard weddings and this one had similar vibes from the sweet Hailey & Seb.
Getting Ready with the Girls
Location may have needed to be moved, however I feel like it was just right. Morgan’s mom hosted the getting ready and it was so much fun. The girls had lots of champagne, treats, and details organized of course. The moment I saw Morgan’s dress I knew it was truly made for her. It was perfectly steamed and hanging in a cleared out room. However, so fitting that it be her childhood room that we did her getting in the dress photos. We popped champagne, even though Morgan was a bit nervous about it from the engagement session! Morgan’s sister wanted to do a TikTok and of course I obliged and filmed it. Total fun for me!
Backlit Ceremony with the dreamiest Sunlight
The beautiful arch that Jay made was perfectly placed with the sun twinkling behind them during the ceremony. Lots and lots of tears were shed at this wedding, but seeing Jay choke up was so darn sweet. What a little softie underneath all that big personality. I know exactly why these two are meant to be, Jay makes Morgan smile every chance he gets and it radiates through them. The carefully thought out vows, the fun confetti at the end, and of course Dale stealing the whole damn show, this backyard wedding was nothing short of romance in Harrowsmith.
Speeches and Dancing – a night to remember Backyard Romantic Wedding Harrowsmith
I don’t think there was any dry eyes the entire day, however Liv, Morgan’s Maid of Honour stole the show with her emotional speech. To be honest, everyone really had great speeches. Nothing makes me happier than seeing original heartfelt funny roasts at a wedding. Jay of course was hung out to dry a few times but all in good fun. Seeing everyone in stitches was definitely a highlight. We are absolutely so thankful they asked us to be part of this special day.
