Fun Wedding at Aquatopia Conservatory in Carp. This venue just happens to be 5 minutes from our beautiful studio. Capturing Kaitlin and Ethan made us feel like we were hanging out with long time friends. Originally this day was planned for 2020, but we all know that story. However, I think this new date fits them perfectly. Kaitlin may have gone “Cricut-crazy” but what else is a bride to do when you have to plan your wedding twice?! No detail was missed, except for Theo’s outfit, but we won’t go there. Getting ready in the morning with the girls has to be one of my absolute favourites. Everything was ready when we arrived and every bridesmaid and MOH was ready to take action whenever I even glanced at them. I was able to capture all that I wanted and more because of this level of dedication
Dancing, Laughing, Crying, it’s a Wedding Day combo we Love
On any wedding day you can expect to see lots of laughter, crying, and of course dancing. This group was by far ready for anything we thought up! What is really wonderful about Aquatopia is the amount of natural light that pours into the space. Talk about amazing ceremony photos! The amount of greenery and natural elements really makes it look so unique. Whenever I share photos from this space so many are drawn by the variety of elements that this spot offers. One thing we did not take for granted was sunset and I’m so happy we took the time to get all the spots!
If you want to see how much fun we’ve had before this day, check out this engagement session we did. It was raining and we still went ahead but look how much fun it was!!
How to have Fun on your Wedding Day
You think this would be easy right? Not always the case. When you want to make your wedding day scream WOW that was fantastic you need to do a few things. This is however from our perspective after shooting over 200 weddings and events. Make sure you prepare. Know what you want and definitely what you don’t want to do. Maximize time with family and friends but also photo time. Rushing couples is not fun on a wedding day, especially during sunset. Listen to what your photo/video team tells you to do. This can be by doing first looks, having amazing speeches and personalized vows. Also, hiring a team that can help you go for a fun look on the day by incorporating dancing at any given moment during the day. It’s awkward but totally worth it we think!
