Newborn Photographer Ottawa in a quaint home studio our loft here at Grey Loft Studio. Following new guidelines for safety that are really not that new. We always wash and wipe down everything after each session, but we didn’t wear masks often. Now we wear fresh masks and use hand sanitizer more often than before, but we always made sure that clients did so upon entering the studio. Before clients must have thought we were overly cautious, now we’ve had to take it a step further which is great!

Since we’ve photographed so many families with new babies, we know a thing or two about preparation. Luckily we have been able to photograph this family in our studio since 2015. Coordinating outfits, adding textures, and investing in professional makeup can really help any new mom. Trust me I know since I had mine done and never regret it! Natural, organic, handmade. This is our philosophy when it comes to choosing the types of outfits and props. Supporting Canadian and local women run shops is also a priority. About 95% of all our props are proudly Canadian. Being able to support other business women in my industry is really such a win win for our business.
All of our outfits or at least 99% of them come handmade and up-cycled from Props by Jeana and we source a lot of our props from Khristine’s Creations (furs, wraps, backdrops (fabric ones)). This has allowed me to build such an amazing assortment of colours and variations that are both beautiful and fit with my clients choice of decor.
