When you dream about shopping for your wedding dress, you are absolutely looking for that dream dress experience, because without that, how does it all start to feel real? I know that was my experience when I started looking at dresses for my own special day. It was the spark that sent this bride’s experience to spark something new, a wedding dress boutique business.
Gap in the Market Equals Opportunity
So often do we see these super successful businesses but we rarely know what really happened to get them there. With any business it starts with something that perhaps someone found was lacking in the market or a poor experience. Figuring out what that dream dress experience was supposed to feel like was key for With Love. When I started by business I knew that printing and high quality files were important to me. This came after receiving low quality files that I couldn’t print large. Same thing happened to Dana after she was less than satisfied with her experience shopping for her own wedding dress.
Focus on Dream Dress Experience First
When you set out to start your business it can be easy to be distracted by all the flashy stuff, but by focusing on experience you can grow much faster. Sometimes it takes playing the long game to really see how far you have grown. Being thrown into different directions almost by force is also a good way to grow. It may seem harder, but as entrepreneurs we are used to jumping in with two feet and seeing where we land.

Growth can also come from necessity. One of the amazing things Dana soon realizes is that she needed to have variety in terms of budgets.
