The only sunny day of the week landed perfectly for Georgette and Christopher for an April Wedding at Le Belvedere. This lovely day marked the beginning of a very busy season ahead. What a way to kick it off with such an amazing group of family and friends. The girls got ready at the guest house while the guys had fun over at the Grande just a few mins away. Being at Le Belvedere we are quite lucky as they have some truly stunning getting ready spaces to capture all the special moments.

First looks are still so Special, especially reveals!
If you’ve been on the fence about doing a first look or reveal you should seriously be considering! First looks are absolutely the best. We are able to get so many more photos throughout the day and we get moments like below. Special doesn’t even really do the moment justice, it’s more! Promise that walking down the aisle will still be magical. The beautiful intimate moments our couples share is one of my favourites to capture!

Ceremony time during this April Wedding at Le Belvedere
Seeing Le Belvedere in its full beauty without all the flowers and trees filled in is quite stunning. You’d never really get the chance to see this unless you chose to get married in November/Winter (like our other couple did here) or in April. Once May hits and the grass turns green and all the trees fill in it looks completely different. To be honest I found the weather nicer in April than November but it could be that I’m Canadian and we wear t-shirts in the spring after being in such extreme cold.
I know that Georgette and her girls felt cold during the ceremony. For the guests, they all had coats or blankets and a short ceremony by Jim from Ottawa Wedding Officiants kept the ceremony light, funny, and short so we no one was cold.

Most romantic Sunset Bride & Groom portraits
Sunset is just such a special time for photos. Something so magical about that first one, especially after you get married. When you and your new partner get to have some alone time (with me and the team) but mostly alone. Being able to chat, be close, and super romantic is special. It might be the only time our couple has alone. It’s one I hold dear to my heart because it’s one that sometimes couples will be unsure about doing, but trust me when I say it’s totally worth it!

Huge thank you to Georgette and Chris for trusting us with and working with us! We had so much fun and we can’t wait to see all the new adventures you get up to!
