How to Brand Your Business as a Wedding Photographer. Branding your business is so important when you want to set yourself apart from other Wedding Photographers. Trying to brand yourself can be hard… trust me.
Once you figure out what type of clients you want to attract and what you’re passionate about, you need to start building off that. An important thing to remember is that you are getting clients that want you, so always make sure you are portraying what you want, with your personality.
IS YOUR LOGO YOUR BRAND?
Of course it’s nice to have a beautiful logo for your clients. But it’s unrealistic to have your brand be your logo, the colours, and fonts you use on your website. Doing that won’t get you the clients you want to be attracting.
The first thing they’ll be looking at is your work. Is your work the style or look your couples are looking for? Having your homepage displaying what you want to sell the most is a necessary part of your branding. If you want to be doing more than wedding photography (maternity, newborn, etc.) have a separate page on your website for that!

PROMOTING YOUR WORK
When you’re first branding your business, it’s hard to choose what images you want to post on your Instagram account. Instead of thinking about what looks good in your feed, try to think about who you are speaking to. Anytime you post a photo, clients should know who you’re trying to reach. This honestly helped our business so much just by doing that.
Start thinking about what you’re trying to book at certain times of the year. If you’re trying to book some weddings, make sure you are posting wedding photos. At the end of the day, you want to get the clients you want, so make sure you are speaking to them throughout your social media platforms.

CONSISTENCY
You always need to make sure you are repeating the same process with every client you get. This is important because if they share with their friends the service you gave them, they’ll be expecting the same thing.
Being consistent all across your platforms is essential with your branding. When you want to be taking more pictures of a specific thing (details, brides, etc.), make sure you are sharing those types of images on your social media. The key through all of it is consistency. That’s how you will build a brand that will be unique and remembered by clients and their friends.
