Peony Styled Engagement – Jéhanne & Trevor was rescheduled along with 30 other clients this spring and missed the ever so beautiful cherry blossoms. A 39 degree day didn’t stop these two from bringing a lot of fun. We did not complain one bit since being away from people for so long we were delighted to have our camera’s in hand.

The star of the show is a new member of the family, Levi. Funny story, as Jéhanne was messaging me about outfit choices, she sent a photo of Levi’s shirt. The preview is small and I was saying how much I loved the blue shirt option. After saying it at least 3 times, it became clear that it wasn’t meant for Trevor. Needless to say, they all dressed very well and Levi’s shirt was a hit.

Champagne Toast – Peony Styled Engagement

Peony Styled Engagement – Jéhanne & Trevor was held at the Tropical Gardens, walked over to the Dominion Arboretum, and finished in the Ornamental Gardens. Going to this spot is always a highlight as we know the best spots. Since we all showed up about 20 mins early we took our time to scout out some new locations. We alway’s like to leave a bit of time to get creative and allow for some walking between locations.

During an engagement session a fun way to relax is to bring a bottle of champagne for a little toast during the session. Whenever our couples want to get creative and do something different we are totally game. We really encourage outfit changes as well. This way we can get different looks and make the session more glam or more casual with the changes.

Chasing the Sun – Beautiful Peony’s for the win

As we drove by the grass of the Ornamental Gardens I knew we needed to go and do some final photos at this spot. Like more florals, we only have a short time period for when they are in bloom. Timing is everything in this game and overall we are so pleased with the way the entire session turned out.
