Stunning Summer Wedding at NAC for Lauren & Connor on a sunny July day. How incredibly fun this wedding day was filled with love & joy. Meeting Lauren and Kim at the Ottawa Wedding Show felt like fate. We all clicked and immediately knew that this day was going to be so much fun! It’s not everyday that you renovate your home inside and out for your daughters wedding! However, I have to say the sweet moments shared between Marco and Lauren have to be some of my favourites, right next to Connor’s reaction to her down the aisle. No dry faces during this day!

Visiting a Grandparent on your Wedding Day
While creating the timeline it was important for Lauren that we stop to visit her sweet grandpa before heading to the ceremony. Of course however, the highways were closed making things a little complicated. We got it done and I know it’s a sweet moment no one will forget. His tears made me cry just editing these photos. What a sweetheart and how meaningful. Such a wonderful idea.
Stunning Details at this Summer Wedding at the NAC
WOW, just wow is how I would describe the meticulous details. Seeing Lauren’s reaction to the room was priceless. I love the pop of burnt orange against the sage. So beautiful. The team at Love in Bloom and Chic and Swell truly know how to bring a vision to life. It was a true mix of classic and beautiful. Lauren’s vision truly came to life.
No First Look meant an Emotional Ceremony for EVERYONE
Every turn I saw someone wiping tears. It was truly the happiest celebration. The definition of happy tears. Connor’s reaction was the absolute sweetest for his soulmate. It’s no question these two are meant to be together. Everything between them feels so easy and fun. This ceremony was so sweet with the cute and SUPER well behaved doggies!
Let’s hear it for the View & Gold Chairs at the NAC
You simply cannot beat this view and room. It’s a fave for a reason. The room fills with so much natural light, it’s simply unmatched in Ottawa. The NAC truly had a vision when they built this room and it’s totally made so many peoples wedding dreams come true. I loved the mix of colours and how everything ties into the design. So cohesive and makes my heart sing.
Sunset timing was EVERYTHING on this day
Literally timed the sunset perfectly on this day. This isn’t always possible since we have dinner service and speeches, but Lauren runs a tight ship and was ready to go whenever it was best! I love that. You have no idea how excited I get for these moments. Even after a long day my energy was on peak during these moments!
