How It All Began
She didn’t always know she was a medium, or that it would become a business. she worked in the service and retail industry for a while, including Lululemon. She met a Rekki teacher where she took her level one and level two, initially for the healing aspect and feeling connected. Eventually, she did her level three and four as well and reconnected with energy and at the same time, her entrepreneurial voice. She started doing readings for others out of her home in 2014 while being a stay-at-home mom.
Jennifer created a ‘Friends and Family’ referral for twenty bucks as a way to practice her skills and ability. From there it snowballed through word of mouth, so she created a Facebook Page and started receiving emails with requests shortly after. People were reaching out from everywhere. Gradually she increased her prices as her experience grew.
Pivotal Moments in Growing the Psychic Medium Business
In the beginning, Jennifer would take every request she got and was meeting all different types of people. She quickly realized that she could take the business approach and focus solely on growing the business, OR, she could focus on her integrity and the type of people she would work with. It takes a lot for her to genuinely connect, so it’s important to focus on the people who WANT to share that experience. There are also people who would book sessions far too often, which became emotionally draining for Jennifer. At that point, she decided to change her pricing to reflect a desired category of clientele.
Teaching has always been something Jennifer has been interested in. Often clients would leave with so much information and not know what to do with it all. So by teaching clients how to use this information when they are alone, Jennifer saw a major opportunity. This was a place where Jennifer could find balance in her platform and connect in real-time and provide value and guidance after the sessions as well. This was the most recent and significant change in her business.
Since the pandemic, she has transferred from doing sessions in-person to online. Jennifer misses the hugs and tangibility that come with a traditional in-person session but now realizes that there are no boundaries with spirits, and as a result, it has been a successful remote process. It has also allowed her to grown her business internationally.
