1. Blossoming Beginnings: A Floral Prelude to Love
The year commenced with a floral symphony, where love took centre stage, and the language of flowers spoke volumes. Whether nestled in the heart of a lush garden or gracing the corners of a chic urban venue, the diversity of floral designs never ceased to amaze me. As I reflect on the moments frozen in time, the delicate petals and vibrant hues encapsulate the very essence of each couple’s unique love story.
The soft and luscious florals from Love in Bloom are always a fan fave. The touches of eucalyptus and soft tones are just so stunning for Alexandra.
Spring florals have a soft spot in my heart, the ones below from the Planted Arrow with the beautiful blooming peonies mixed with the Lilac foreground and backdrop give me goosebumps.

Weddings, in their essence, are a celebration of love, and what better way to tell this tale than through the language of flowers? The artistry of florists has been nothing short of extraordinary, transforming venues into dreamlike landscapes. From cascading floral arches framing vows to meticulously arranged centrepieces adorning reception tables, each bloom seems to whisper tales of romance. As I clicked away, my camera became a storyteller, capturing not just moments but the very emotions that define a love-filled day.
We were lucky enough to work with the team over at Wedecor a few times this year. Each wedding was so unique and to put it honestly, jaw dropping each time.
3. Capturing Nature’s Symphony: The Dance of Florals in the Great Outdoors
One of the joys of being a wedding photographer is witnessing the seamless integration of nature into these celebrations. Nature’s symphony played out in various settings, from rustic outdoor ceremonies to elegant indoor affairs. The florals, akin to nature’s musicians, added their melody to the ambiance. My lens revelled in the dance of wind-tousled petals and played with the sunlight streaming through blossoms, capturing the raw beauty that only nature can provide. It’s not just about documenting weddings; it’s about preserving the harmony between love and the natural world.

The lovely team at Aquatopia truly have a way with florals. I love how this space provides such a natural backdrop for our couples.
Riverwood Gardens garden inspired wedding florals we’re truly a favourite of mine as well! I love the big beautiful peonies for my detail shots!

In a world where trends come and go, the timeless beauty of florals remains a constant, an anchor grounding us in the rich tradition of celebrating love.

I love how perfectly the florals matched the invites from the team over at Wishtree Invites. The hanging greenery in the reception space was truly so fun as well. I hope to see more of this in 2024.
Avant Garde Design completely transformed these two spaces for the wedding and reception. I loved the unique design and how everything came together for this special couple.
